Al Reehan Neighborhood is the first self-contained community in Palestine. The neighborhood covers 250,000 m2 of land and is located five kilometers away from Ramallah City. It is being developed by Amaar under the direct supervision of Al Reehan Real Estate Investment Company.
Al Reehan Neighborhood is a multipurpose area for housing units, schools, parks, landscaped grounds, retail centers and a health complex. About 2000 housing units are expected to be built in the project, which has been under development since December 2009.
The Neighborhood, which is scheduled to be completed within five years, is the first project developed under PIF's National Affordable Housing Program, which aims to build 30,000 units within the next coming years.
To coordinate and administer the National Housing Program, the Affordable Mortgage and Loan Company "Al AMAL" was established to initiate loans serviced by the Cairo Amman Bank and the Bank of Palestine in order to facilitate and allow large numbers of Palestinians to afford their dream homes.
