Board of Directors

Mr. Abu Ramadan is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wataniya Mobile representing the Palestine Investment Fund (PIF).  He is also a member of the Palestine Investment Fund’s (PIF) audit committee, and a member of the board of directors of several companies and economical institutions.   Mr. Abu Ramadan has a Bachelor degree in Business Administration from Syracuse University.

Advocate and legal consultant, Mr. Abu diak is the former minister of justice, former secretary general of the cabinet, and the former head of the fatwa and legislation bureau with the rank of Supreme Court judge. He holds a bachelor Degree in Law, from Applied Science University in Jordan and a master's degree in Law from Birzeit University in Palestine. 

Mazen Karam attained his Civil Engineering degree from Baghdad University in 1976. He joined Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC) in 1977 and currently serves as Advisor to CCC’s President of Engineering and Construction. 

Mazen worked for CCC from 1977 to 1987 in the MENA region in engineering, construction and procurement of water, wastewater, solid waste, roadworks, environmental, petrochemical, process plants, commercial and residential buildings, mixed use development and other major heavy civil engineering projects. Mazen worked in countries like Abu Dhabi, China, Dubai, Greece, Kuwait, Libya, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. 

Mazen worked for AT&T in the United States from 1987-1994. He then returned to CCC from 1995 to this date in different capacities, including Country Manager of its affiliated company, the Morganti Group, Inc. in Palestine from 1996 to 2008 and as the CEO of the Bethlehem Development Foundation, founded by CCC’s co-founder, the late Said Khoury, from 2012 to 2021.

Mazen serves on several charitable, educational and business boards in Palestine including the Bethlehem Development Foundation (BDF), the Hassib Sabbagh IT Center of Excellence (HSITCE), the Bethlehem University Business Incubator (BBI), the Bethlehem University Tourism Institute (BUTi), the Amaar Group and Masader.

With over 20 years of experience in Operations and Project Management, Private Sector Development, Entrepreneurship, and Aid management. She is the Founder and managing partner of FORWARD, a social enterprise specialized in providing solutions to organizations in immediate and long-term challenges applying the Best International Practices. Previously, Rula was the Programs Director at the Welfare Association (Taawon) in Palestine, where she managed an annual budget of $50 Million Dollars in Human Development, Economy, and Culture Preservation.  On the International and regional level, Rula was the Director of Country Operations at Silatech, an International NGO focused on Youth Development, Entrepreneurship, and Economic Development in the Middle East and North Africa region in which she has managed multi-million-dollar budget, oversaw the operations in twenty-two Arab countries, developed countries’ strategies in Youth, Entrepreneurship, and Employment.

An entrepreneur herself, Ms. Shunnar co-founded a start-up in Palestine specialized in renewable energy solutions.

Rula served as a Senior Advisor to Palestinian Ministers in the sectors of National Economy on Private Sector Development and International Aide, and the Minister of Education on Education in Emergency and International cooperation.

Abroad, Ms. Shunnar worked as a project leader at the Dow Chemical Company in Houston-TX, where she was responsible for various sites in California, Canada, and Michigan. She led the strategic marketing unit at Dynamic Fluid Measurement company, a Houston based oil and Gaz company, upon her graduation from university.

Rula holds an MBA in International Business from the University of St. Thomas and a B.Sc. in Computer Information System from the University of Houston, TX.  Her extensive work with US and international organizations has enabled her to acquire knowledge in multicultural business and work environments and enriched her diverse experience. 

As an expert in Private Sector Development, Ms. Shunnar has chaired and participated in sessions on Youth, Technology, Innovation in Education, and Entrepreneurship, and family business in various conferences in the US, Europe, and Palestine.

Currently, Ms. Shunnar serves as a board member at Najah University and Palestine Deposit Insurance Corporation.
